The Snapdragon 615 processor, succeeding the Snapdragon 610, features an octa-core Arm Cortex-A53 CPU, Adreno 405 GPU, and Hexagon DSP. It supports various location technologies, including GLONASS, Beidou, and GPS, and enables low-power geofencing and tracking. The processor has LTE Category 4 capabilities, with peak download speeds of up to 150 Mbps and peak upload speeds of up to 50 Mbps. It also supports Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.01, and NFC connectivity. It supports up to 21 MP camera resolution, 1080p video capture and playback, and Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 technology. The processor is built on a 28nm process node.
