The Snapdragon 653 is a mobile processor by Qualcomm, succeeding the Snapdragon 652. It has quad-core Cortex-A72 and quad-core Cortex-A53 CPUs, clocked up to 1.95 GHz, with an Adreno 510 GPU and Hexagon DSP. It supports GLONASS, Beidou, SBAS, GPS, QZSS, Galileo, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 4.1, and NFC. The X9 LTE modem offers up to 300 Mbps download and 150 Mbps upload speeds. The processor supports up to 21 MP cameras, 4K video capture, and Quad HD displays. It features Quick Charge 2.0 and 3.0 and is built on a 28 nm process node. The Snapdragon 653 is succeeded by the Snapdragon 660.
