The Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 is a premium mobile processor that was announced in 2010 and released in 2011. Manufactured using a 45nm process, it features a dual-core 1.7GHz Qualcomm Scorpion CPU, Adreno 220 GPU, and Hexagon QDSP6 DSP and NPU. Supporting LPDDR2-666 RAM and equipped with a 3G modem, this processor is built on ARMv8 architecture (64-bit) and is identified by product codes MSM8660 (CDMA/UMTS), MSM8260 (UMTS), and APQ8060 (no modem). It is a successor to the S2 and, predecessor to the S4 Pro.
